Classes and Workshops
This workshop will be a feast for the senses! You will absolutely be inspired by the beautiful landscape, light, and people of the high desert. You'll work with a diverse selection of materials—including my handmade papers harvested from the Maine landscape, Japanese, Korean, and Mexican papers. Artists and photographers will have the opportunity to print their work to incorporate in books or sculpture. We will embrace an open-ended, process-oriented approach that places strong emphasis on individual exploration and creative discovery. .

We return to Italy in 2027 with another retreat hosted
by Italiana Tours!
The Sculptural Book: Form, Place & Presence is a five-day immersive retreat designed for artists and photographers who wish to expand the expressive possibilities of the book.
Together we will explore how sculptural form, sequence, material, and structure can transform photographs and works of art into unique, three-dimensional artist books that tell a story. Throughout the week, you will create two to three sculptural books inspired by your own chosen theme, developing work that reflects your individual artistic voice.

The Fibre Arts Take Two team worked tirelessly on the video content and all the supporting materials. They have put together a beautiful course with eight modules that I am so proud to be a part of. It has been an amazing experience to work alongside the entire team – they are truly experts in their field. Registration for the second session of Focus and Flow is now closed.
