This immersive retreat-style workshop is designed to guide participants through a transformative creative journey, facilitating an opening of the heart-sense and intuitive awareness. Through discussions and demonstrations, participants will discover innovative ways to allow the inherent qualities, textures, and characteristics of various materials to naturally guide the creative process and take the lead in developing unique compositions.

The Fibre Arts Take Two team worked tirelessly on the video content and all the supporting materials. They have put together a beautiful course with eight modules that I am so proud to be a part of. This workshop will be a feast for the senses! You will absolutely be inspired by the beautiful landscape, light, and people of the high desert. You'll work with a diverse selection of materials—including my handmade papers harvested from the Maine landscape, Japanese, Korean, and Mexican papers. Artists and photographers will have the opportunity to print their work to incorporate in books or sculpture. We will embrace an open-ended, process-oriented approach that places strong emphasis on individual exploration and creative discovery. .
